Happy Weekend!

Little late getting going here this morning…but I did find a cool picture of a dark nymph.  Wish I knew who the artist was, so I could give credit where it’s due!  I always wanted to be able to draw, but stick people are about as fancy as I get.  Anyway…

It’s a wet, fairly yucky day outside, so I’m wandering around in my hoodie because I’m always cold anyway.  This morning I’ll be putting the finishing touches on my re-revised synopsis for the dragon story and getting a small pitch ready for it as well.  So here I sit, drinking my second cup of coffee, and the house is blissfully quiet for a couple of hours.  Ahhhh :-)

Hope you all have some fun stuff planned for the weekend.  I think we might have dinner with friends one night, but other than that, I’m just hanging out.  Probably curl up with one of the other House of Night books I’ve been saving for a rainy day!  Enjoy the weekend, and I’ll see you all Monday!

Hey Kendra, sounds like a nice quiet morning to get some work done. It’s still raining here, and the news reported that it was hailing on the Golden Gate Bridge. Yikes, they have enough trouble with traffic in the a.m.; add rain and hail…not pretty.

Have a great weekend! Nothing major for us either. Kid’s have some stuff going on-we’re enjoying the open weekends because once Soccer starts up, well, our weekends will not be our own.

Did you watch PR? I’m worried I won’t make it through this season. I’ll email over the weekend!

Yes, It feels like a Lazy Friday unless I think of something freaky to do today. Like really exercise. But I’m thinking reading today would be nice. I’m really getting into Terry Spears latest Wolf Story.
But I’m watching Anderson Cooper today on Ellen. I need to send more donations to those brave people in Haiti. Have a Great Weekend Everyone!!

I forgot Lisa I did watch Vampire Diaries and PR.
I can’t believe they made the clothes they did out of Potato Sacks. And I can’t believe they sent that lady home. Her dress was so much better than the one with her bootie showing. So I guess in the fashion world. Don’t make a Skinny model look normal. But it’s ok to show off their Butt cheeks or crack. HMM!!! And Vampire Diaries, WOW!!!Damon is so Damn Bad. But that is so good. HAGW!!!

I forgot all about Vampire Diaries and don’t you know I don’t think it is available OnDemand. Shoot. Corinne had a thing at school and by the time we got home, finished up homework, dinner-well, I kinda vegged for a bit. Jamie was watching the SJ Sharks play. After everyone went to bed, I did watch PR and yes, some of the stuff was incredible, considering they used burlap sacks, however, I feel no connection to this group and they have no connection to each other. Well, it’s only been two episodes, so maybe my expectations are too high at this point.

Have a happy weekend everybody! I’m at work, break time…and it’s taking to long to get to quitting time!!! Somebody save me!

Good luck with your re-revision :D I can’t draw worth anything either. I can’t even draw a proper stick figure. Which is funny because most of my friends are artists. The picture is pretty though.

Have a great weekend Kendra! :D

Hey ladies :-) Okay, re-revision is done, AGAIN, since somehow I managed to get my computer to eat it after I finished it this morning and before I sent it off. So that’s been my afternoon…redoing the whole damn thing. My head almost exploded. Seriously.

Lisa, I didn’t watch PR yet, but yeah, even after the first show I’m worried about just not caring about these people. We’ll see. I hear you on weekends not being your own! For us it’s weekdays. With two of the kids swimming, one competitively, we’re at the pool four nights a week. It can get really old. And there’s a meet next weekend, which shoots that all to hell! I volunteered to work concession, so that should be a disaster. :-)

Donna, I agree, exercise IS freaky! But I need to get back at it, even though my stupid shoulder is still sore…I have no idea what I did to it. I’m quite talented, LOL. I vote for reading!

Hi Jessica! Fear not, the workday is slowly drawing to a close!

Thanks for the luck, Ana…I can always use it! I hear you, I’m not even very good at stick figures. Writing is about the only creative thing I can do, apart from singing, and that’s just one of those genetic crapshoot things that you can either do or not. I want an illustrator for my books! That would be AWESOME!

    Have a great weekend!!

  • Hi Kendra!
I have been having a very lazy day today, but I did manange to finish my re-read challenge book (an old Linda Howard book from my keeper shelf) and now I am starting “Marked” from the House of Night books – good so far.
I hope you have a great weekend!!

    :)
