A Moment of Groove

Morning, ladies!  I have to head out to drop the kids at school, then pick up the cat’s heart pills at Target (wow, when did my life become such a whirlwind of excitement?), and I really don’t have a single interesting thing I can think of to talk about.  SO, in lieu of that, here’s a song I’ve had stuck in my head for like three days.  In a good way, because it’s a pretty cool song…got sort of a funky, almost neo-disco vibe going on.  It’s from ’07, but somehow I missed it back then.  Probably because I was living in the desert, cut off from civilization, LOL.  Seriously, though, Fallon Nevada had zero good radio stations, so it’s no wonder.  Anyhoo, the video is sort of weird, but the dancing guy is interestingly hot.  Enjoy the moment of groove, feel free to boogie in your chairs.  Have a great Thursday!

  • I have this song on my computer, playlists and MP3 player – I listen to it very often, along with Nickleback.

Glad you like it Donna! And oh, my, I just had a look at my email…

Kendra, thank goodness I have you to introduce me to some very cool music! I like this band too! And yes, while strange, the video is very cool in that the other dancers just seem to appear out of nowhere and DAMN, I wish I had long legs that the lead female dancer. Wow!

Set your DVR-Project Runway tonight. A visit to a muddy farm and burlap are on the menu and a tease preview I saw has one of the model’s special place on display-

Hey, Heidi needs to do a PR season where they design clothes for men….We need some hunky male models strutting their stuff…

Funny, I don’t remember this one, either, and I’ve been listening to a pretty good radio station–or so I thought! Great song and I, of course, took special note not only of the dancing guy,but the long-haired guitar player!

Sometimes I go through an entire day and think, “Man…When did I ever have any excitement in my life today?” LOL.

I love this song! I just never knew who sang it. Thanks Kendra lol. Have a great Thursday too!

Hi Lisa! Glad you like the song! And yeah, I really wish I had legs like that too. Not gonna happen in this lifetime…genetics forbid it coming from my family. The DVR is set!! And I totally agree on the male models. The only guys I remember them having on in the recent past were drag queens.

Hi Cheryl! Ah, I should have known you’d like the long-haired guitarist :-) He was definitely working the hair…sex-ay!

LOL, Ana, that would be my life too! I love this song. I’ve never heard of the band before, but it’s cool…they’ve provided me with something to hum and dance to in my kitchen for a couple of days now! Not that I can dance like these people…but all alone, I pretend I can!

I don’t listen to radio like I used to, around here the radio stations leave a lot to be
desired. I had to wait till I got home to listen to the song, nice! These days I listen to Pandora, on the web, and yes I admit it I listen to Bubblegum Oldies and DooWop. I know I’m dating my self, but those songs as the only ones I know the words to! Boy did that one hurt!

Thanks Kendra for the new tune….maybe I’ll look into other music too.
