Mantastic Matt
Okay, I know I sort of cheated and had Matt on Friday as well, but seriously, it was FRIDAY, and we all needed a naked cowboy to be here on Friday! He just happened to be available. However, since it is now officially Mantastic Monday, we can put the crown on him instead of the cowboy hat and enjoy the wonder that is Matt Schiermeier in all his not-really-wearing-much glory. I do have to say, he’s a little TOO hardbodied for me personally, but man do I love those tattoos. I’m playing with a new story, and the hero has all kinds of tattoos…except they’re not really tattoos, they’re a part of him, because he’s…well, you know what? I’m going to let it be a surprise. You’ll see:-)
In other news, I now have auburn hair. I always wanted to be a redhead, but my genes prevented it. There is a whole branch of my family that’s redheaded Irish, but of course I managed to take after the mousy brown part. No, really, my natural hair color is about the most nondescript ash brown you’ll ever see. Doesn’t even go with my skin tone. Very annoying. Anyway, for the next little while, I’m red. It’s a fun switch. Can’t do flame red, because I’d look silly, but the auburn is nice. I think it helped me write the 7400 words I wrote this weekend! I was on a roll!
Okay, I’m much more boring than Mr. Mantastic, so I’ll sign off and just let him be pretty. Hope you all had a great weekend, and Happy Freaking Monday!:-D

It’s kind of sad, I used to play with my hair color just for fun, but premature gray runs in my family, and guess who picked up THAT nice little hereditary trait? I suppose it gives me an excuse, though. Not like I needed one!!

Hi Donna! Ooh, another redhead! Excellent idea! Mine is in a ponytail today. It’s too frigging cold to get all that beautiful, LOL. I really was inspired this weekend. You never know when that’s going to happen. While I love writing, a lot of the time, it’s work. The times when lightning strikes and I just have to pour the story out onto the screen are wonderful gifts!

So, had fun with the hair color huh? I inherited the going grey thing too except at my age, probably couldn’t call it “pre-mature” really.
I do chunky highlights now…love that I can get just a touch of blonde in there as my hair is dark brown…but I usually lean toward the redish highlights for the most part.
Congrats on the great writing weekend! What were you working on? Fallen Angels or more new proposal stuff?
Ooh Kendra I want to see pictures of your hair. I dyed my hair dark red a couple of times and even had red highlights. I like the color red. lol.

The 7400 words this weekend was NOT a usual occurrence fo rme, believe me. And getting any words out is always a triumph! It’s just that every once in a while, the spirit moves me and my brain sort of, er, explodes? Hmm, that sounds gross…
Hi Jessica! I will come up with a picture of some sort, no worries. I keep trying, but my office isn’t very bright because of the way the windows face and it’s hard to see the red. I’m probably going to have to get my daughter to take one. I will try not to make dorky faces:-) I LOVE being a redhead! There’s a reason I write a lot of redheaded women…I have hair envy!
Now let me see what I can do about getting a different picture up…
I find it hysterical that I am recognizing hunks via their tattoos, rather than their faces. Strange times, lassie… Strange times….
