Coming in September! (updated)
Yep, we have a release date…the first fallen angel book will be out this September, and I’m SO excited! I’m really proud of what I’ve created with this book, and I can’t wait to have you all read it. The only bad thing is that now I have to come up with some new titles for it. I’ve already got the Art Fact Sheet done (this is what Harlequin has you do for every book…they have a database of questions, and you’re asked to describe all sorts of things, including scenes that might be used for the cover), and the covers they do for Nocturnes are so beautiful I’m sure I’ll end up with something amazing.
So today is a day for happy dancing! And apart from that, I was asked to come up with yet another proposal for a paranormal (this is the story of my life lately), so I believe I’m going to write a dragon hero, because damn it, I like those. We’ll see where it goes, but I did some brainstorming work yesterday (the fun part) and woke up full of ideas. I already have a ton of notes. Starting something new is always a wonderful adventure.

UPDATE: SINFULLY YOURS is now re-titled RENEGADE ANGEL! I absolutely love it!!

I’ll just throw you some titles off the cuff: Dance with the Dragon, Demon Dance, Magick, Demon’s Dawn, Demon’s Touch, Eyes of Dragon, Dawn of the Dragon, Dragon’s Heart.
Last night I was watching the People’s Choice. It was the Night of the Vampire. Twilight won 4 awards, True Blood Won, Vampire Diaries too. And Sandra Bullock and Mr. Johnny Depp won the big Favorite actor of the decade. He was dressed in Designer Holey Blue Jeans and a Jacket with a unbuttoned shirt, his straggly hair. HOT Sexy Depp!!!
Ok Donna leave a few title’s for the rest of us…after reading all of yours, I’m going to have to put on the ole thinking cap and see what I can come up with. I’ll be back….later.
Yeah, congrats on a release date! This is for Sinfully Yours, right? I’m so excited! And another proposal request! Looks like the move to Nocturne was a good one! I’m a little confused though…did you ever tell us what was up with the Vampire proposal you did? I can’t remember if anything moved forward from that. I know you’ve been working on the 2nd book for the Fallen Angels too. Soooo many books to look forward to and now a Demon story! Just keeps getting better and better!
I watched parts of the People’s Choice. I missed Johnny Depp though…fell asleep. I’m glad he won and I Sandra Bullock’s first acceptance speech. She got a little teary and I loved how she said “my husband who’s also my boyfriend…”

Donna, I think that Dragondoodle must have inspired me or something, even though it scared me! Love those titles! I have a working title for the new dragon story, but the thing I have to change is the title of SINFULLY YOURS. I may use the word “demon” in the new title because, well, he is one along with being a fallen angel. So the Demon titles are all good! I’m just not coming up with much. *sigh*
Jessica, any ideas for my fallen angel book title are very welcome! And like I said, the word “demon” in the book is pretty interchangable with “fallen angel,” so whichever.

Names are still floating in my head: Kiss of the Demon or A Demon’s Kiss. Demon’s Flight. Wings of the Demon.

Demon Mine, Demon Knight, Fallen Angel’s Soul…still working on it. Work closed early today. We are now getting the snow that Cheryl drove home in this morning. Still it wasn’t too bad. A few years ago it took me 6 hours to get home, this time an hour. After the walk home from the bus stop I need to defrost.
I’ll keep working on it and keep you informed.
That’s the other problem I have with my writing. I’m horrible at titles XD But I’m so excited for your September release Kendra! Congrats
Update: my editor says they’ve found that things with “dark” and “demon” in the title don’t sell as well, so I’ve come up with some other stuff. Who woulda thought, huh? Using the word “soul” is an interesting idea, Jessica. I’ll play with that!
